MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Lois M. Gordon, 80, formerly of Lilbourn, Mo., died Sept. 18, 2007, at her home in Memphis.

Born May 11, 1927, in Portageville, Mo., daughter of the late Henry and Florence Christine Baehr French, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lilbourn. She had been a self-employed hairdresser in Portageville. She later moved to Memphis where she was a stylist for Goulds and later a property manager.

She was married to Neb A. Gordon, who preceded her in death in 1970.

One brother, Henry J. French, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one son, Larry Teroy of Memphis; two daughters, Linda Chapman and Cheryl Santucci of Memphis; and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon Saturday until time of services at 2 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn. The Rev. Paul Hicks, pastor of the Lilbourn First Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery in Lilbourn.
