Bom - Miller

SIKESTON -- Charles and Dorothy Bom have announced the engagement of their daughter, Heather Nicole, to Robert Spencer Miller, son of Alvin and Cindy Miller of rural Marston.

A 2002 graduate of New Madrid County Central High School, the future bride is a senior psychology major at Truman State University in Kirksville. She is the granddaughter of Betsy Hampton of Sikeston and Robert and Jean Bom of Benton.

The prospective bridegroom is also a 2002 graduate of New Madrid County Central High School and a senior chemistry major at Truman State. His grandparents are A.A. Miller of Marston and the late Mavis Miller and George and Agnes Carrell.

An outdoor ceremony is planned for Aug. 20 near Bloomfield.
