SIKESTON - Carrie G. Dickerson, 84, died at 5:15 a.m. June 4, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Dec. 5, 1920, in Blandville, Ky., she was the daughter of the late George W. and Emily Tinnon Dickerson. A graduate of Sikeston High School, she also graduated from the Draughons Business College and was a seed analyst with the Dan McCoy Seed Company until retiring.

Survivors include: two sisters, Sadie Scoles and Edith Kellick of Sikeston; three nieces, Donna Sue Hodges of Scott City, Darla Jeanne Swartz of Sikeston and Mildred Dickerson of St. Louis; one nephew, Robert L. Dickerson of Jacksonville, Fla.; and several great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Tom Godwin, pastor of the Restoration Revival Center in Bertrand and the Rev. Richard Whitman, pastor of the First United Pentecostal Church of Sikeston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
