Raymond Parker Sr.

FESTUS - Raymond Parker Sr., 92, died March 13, 2006, at the Arbor Place in Festus.

Born Jan. 7, 1914, in Perkins, son of the late William and Evelyn McDaniel Parker, he had worked as a farmer for many years.

He married Caroline Blanche Surface, who preceded him in death on Dec. 15, 1983.

Three children and one brother also preceded him in death.

Survivors include: five sons and four daughters-in-law, Donald Ray "Road Runner" and Shirley Parker of Imperial, Raymond and Belinda Parker of Des Arc, Poncho and Debra Parker of Barnhart, Gabriel Parker and J.L. and Brenda Parker of Chicago; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Susan and Jim Copeland of Morley, Patricia and Sam Henson of Bell City, Norma and Robert Matney and Wanda Parker of Dexter; and 31 grandchildren, 21 great-

grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Mike Watkins of Dexter will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.
