Your view: Help available

In Sunday's Standard Democrat, an article on Page 5 (of The Scene) discussed the dilemma some Medicare Part D patients were having by reaching the "donut hole" or gap as I prefer to call it. If these folks had received advice from their own trained health insurance agent, there would be no story!

The "Savvy Senior" article on the same page was well written, omitting just one point: Call your trusted health insurance agent to enroll. The premiums are the same if you buy direct or use your local agent.

My office has helped over 125 clients find the appropriate plan by fact-

finding and preparation of a customized proposal outlining three or more options. In most cases, the whole process is completed with enrollment in 30 to 60 minutes tops. Our clients walk out uplifted and satisfied with successful completion of the "complicated process" the media describes daily. In addition they get a human face with a local phone number for future questions and concerns - what can that be worth when folks desire to simplify their life?

To those Medicare eligible folks still waiting, I urge you to call your health insurance agent today as time is short. If you have no agent, we will try to help you complete enrollment in the short time remaining.

Sincerely
