Your view: A happy ending

My family visited Sikeston recently, quite unintentionally, but none the less, very happily. My daughters and I traveled from Jackson, Miss., to St. Louis and just outside of Sikeston, our trailer hitch malfunctioned and the trailer disconnected from our vehicle. Obviously, it was a dire emergency in my book!

Carl at Fisher Auto Parts became our hero! He stayed past quitting time to attach a new ball to the hitch, tighten it snugly in place then even followed us to the trailer left on the side of I-55 and hooked it all back up.

We thought Mississippi was known for its hospitality! Such kindness extended by a Missourian in the service industry reflects well on your state. We will be happy to visit Sikeston again, intentionally next time.
