DEXTER - Eugene Ernest Parks, 84, died Nov. 14, 2005, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter.

Born Nov. 1, 1921, in Chaffee, son of the late Emmett and Ora Seager Parks, he had lived in Southeast Missouri and the Dexter area all his life. He had worked as a carpenter and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was of the Baptist belief.

On July 4, 1942, in Acorn Ridge, he married Wanda Hyslop, who survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by: three daughters, Lisa Coleman of Dexter, Kathy Holt of Nampa, Idaho, and Jeanie Lantz of South Caroline; one son, Dale Parks of Dexter; and eight grandchildren and eight great-

grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Doyle Parks; and one sister, Bonnie Christian.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Karen Oldham and Bonnie Cross, both of Dexter, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery near Puxico.
