Speakout 12/8

Thursday, December 8, 2005

I'd like to speak out about people getting free money over here in these United States. One reason you can't complain about it, you're just jealous 'cause you don't get no help. My son is handicapped and he needs help. We are spending a million dollars an hour in Iraq. If you don't believe me, check it our for yourself. And they get all kinds of free money. That's okay. We are taking it away from our old people and giving it to people who don't give a durn about us. One of these days, you may find yourself with no job and no insurance and you'll be saying, "What am I gonna do? What am I gonna do?" The only thing I can tell you to do is to vote Democrat. Get the Republicans out.

I just wanted to know if KYMO will be broadcasting the East Prairie Eagles on Friday nights?

We contacted KYMO and they said that they would be carrying East Prairie Eagles sports this season.

Congratulations go out to the Rev. Jesse Jackson. We now know that he has accomplished something in his career as a politician. After seeing Mary Ann Maloney's special on Cairo, Ill., recently on KFVS-12, we all know now that Jesse Jackson and the Black Panthers were responsible for the death of Cairo. Now everyone knows what happened. I applaud him for his efforts in killing a southern Illinois town. He should be so proud.

You are right. Not everyone is Christian, but 85 percent of the people believe in Christ whether they practice it or not. I don't have a problem with any store recognizing any other religious holiday. But, if you are not celebrating Christ's birthday, why bother with Christmas? What are you celebrating? When you say Season's Greetings or Happy Holidays, you are not recognizing Christmas or any other day. It's just a Season and just a Holiday.

Good evening. I'm getting tired of all this emphasis on Rosa Parks because she wouldn't give up a bus seat fifty years ago. Big deal. I think we should put emphasis on what other people have done. Like Clara Barton, the Red Cross, Florence Nightingale, Franklin Roosevelt, or Betsy Ross who made the flag, and many of the other heroes I haven't mentioned who did such good works in the good ole USA.
