Shamela Williams

ALLENVILLE -- Shamela Renee Williams, 31, died at 5:55 a.m. March 27, 2008, in Cape Girardeau.

Born Sept. 7, 1976, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Brenda Sue Pirtle Cannon of Bloomfield and the late Tom H. Gross Jr., she was employed by the Chaffee Nursing Center as a certified nursing assistant and was of the Baptist belief.

On June 6, 2005, she married Donald L. Williams who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons, Trevor Williams, Mitchell Givens Jr. and Jarred Givens of the home; one stepson, Joshua Williams of the home; three daughters, Kassidy Fluegge of Jackson, Kaylee Williams of the home and Olivia Gross of Bloomfield; one brother, Tom Gross III of Little Rock, Ark.; and five sisters, Shannon Reeves of St. Louis, Nikki Mosby of Cape Girardeau, and Stellina Rice, Brenda Cahill and Sylina Gross of Little Rock.

Graveside services are scheduled at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Williams Cemetery in Perkins with the Rev. Kenneth Shoemaker officiating.

Pallbearers will be: Justin Shoemaker, Kenney Shoemaker, Jamie Shoemaker, Bill Wolford, Will Yates and Henry Yates.

The Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
