I tell you these educated people now are just idiots. People wanting to stop the trains. Back in the steam engines days, the trains used to run 90 to 100 miles per hour. That's faster than they do now. Passenger especially. They don't know what they're talking about. Shut your mouth.

I live directly behind the new Middle School in Sikeston. I'm tired of seeing teenagers with fast cars driving by all the time. There's one white Cadillac that flies by constantly. Just because your car is fast and you think it's cool doesn't mean nothing. You're not a celebrity, you're just a little wanna-be driver. I have children that play near the street. Slow down. I'm tired of seeing these little teenagers driving these Jaguars and Cadillacs. When I was a kid I had to walk to school every day. This is ridiculous.

We have a problem in Portageville. People can not pay any attention to the speed limit signs. When it's posted 20 or 25 mph, they think it's 40 or 45 mph. If they would they just go the speed limit everything would be okay. They are killing too many animals, dogs and cats. These teenagers, if an animal runs out in front of them, there's no way they have a chance to slow down to keep from hitting them. If they would slow down, everything would be alright. The police need to do their job. Please, there are too many animals being run over. I had a cat killed last night on the west side by the City Park. Somebody speeding. I witnessed this. I think I know who you are. You kept on going. You should have at least had the decency to come back and said you were sorry.

Kudos to Scott Coatney. Just read his Your View article in the March 23 paper and I agree with him 100 percent. It's refreshing to see a well documented letter with all the facts and they are facts whether the main stream media wants to acknowledge them or not, or whether the locals that hate George Bush so much want to acknowledge them or not. And like Scott says, it's not just the Bush backers that risk having their throats cut by the terrorists that we are fighting. We didn't create them. They have existed and are growing in number because they hate America. They won't just kill the Bush backers and kiss the Bush bashers. You are in as much danger as we are and you better get your head out of the sand and quit hating George Bush. He's not your enemy. He is helping us fight the enemy so we can survive as a nation. Again Scott, we are proud of you. Keep up the good work.

I'm calling about your homemaker that wasn't doing her job right. Well, maybe she needs to complain to the company that she works for. Maybe she has the wrong company doing the job. I'm pleased with my homemaker. The lady that called in needs to quit calling the paper and call the company the lady works for. I'm very well pleased with my homemaker. I wouldn't take anything for her. She should check around and maybe change her services to someone else.
