Speakout 7/30

Sunday, July 30, 2006

In response to the dastardly deed in July 21st SpeakOut wanting to know who was to blame for leaking Valerie Plame's cover, she can blame her husband and herself. She wasn't too concerned about it when she was herding all over Washington, D.C. and everybody knew who she was. And as far as a reporter and a newspaper being arrested and what was the motive, I just refer you back to the New York Times. All their star reporters that get Nobel Peace Prizes and paper awards and everything else for printing all the crap that they print that they leak no matter how they get it as long as it's against the Republicans, y'all think that's just great. If it's against a Democrat you somehow think that's against the law. What makes the difference is what side of the politics that you're on. It's all the same game that you Democrats started.

I just wanted to help somebody that may need these. I've got three big tractor tires that maybe somebody might use for playpens for the kids or something. If anybody wants them, put your number in SpeakOut. I'll call you. They are free.

I called sometime ago and asked if there was going to be a thirtieth class reunion for the Class of '76 and inquiring minds from out of town need to know. Thank you.

Rope the mosquitoes

I sure hope the Jaycees use a little more Off to get rid of the mosquitoes this year. I thought I was going to have to jump on one of the bulls to get away from them. We had relatives to come from out of state and they said they wouldn't come no more because of the mosquitoes. Don't go light on the Off.

We found a black and white puppy on the 700 block on Greer. If someone lost this puppy, they can call us at 471-6875.

I would like to speak out about these handymen somebody has been writing about. I had a handyman rewire my whole house, an old house, remodel one of my bathrooms, and he was very fair. I hope people don't listen to all of these rumors that are going around about bad handymen. Charlie did a real good job for me and was reasonable.

I would like to speak out about the railroad. I just read in the paper where my name and my whole family's name was in there and none of us has put our name on any petition. And I think half of these names are being put on there by people who don't even know us. They ought to check graveyards too. They might have some of their names on there.

Unless we know who you are, we can't verify your story. Call us privately and we'll respond.

I have a question. Can you please tell me why there is never any coupon booklets in the Sunday paper anymore? I always look forward to using them every week, and for a long time there's never been any put in there. Please answer my question.
