Your view: Summer challenge

Friday, May 25, 2007

The American Red Cross is always in need of blood, but in the summer time we experience our greatest challenge, in helping keep our active community alive! School is out, the kids are on their bikes, the lake lures us and you can find us participating in just about every activity under the sun. Unfortunately, accidents are never planned and sometimes unavoidable and that's where we come in. We have the plan!

Thank you for helping us with our plan at our recent blood drive at First United Methodist Church on Thursday May18th! We never take your blood for granted and treasure every drop.

Thank you Rotary for sponsoring the drive - you make it possible. We do appreciate The First United Methodist Church for allowing us to hold our blood drive in their beautiful new facility!

The next community blood drive will be hosted at the Hunter Memorial Presbyterian Church on Allen Boulevard. I will be looking for you!

May God Bless
