Swallow - Hammontree

SIKESTON -- Lauri Swallow and Jon Hammontree exchanged vows May 20, 2006 at Chapel in the Glen in Gatlinburg, Tenn. The Rev. Michael Simpson performed the ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Jim and Pat Tilley of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Cecil and Judy Hammontree of East Prairie.

The bride wore an Oleg Cassini two-piece ivory organza A-line floor length gown featuring multi-colored embroidery on the bodice and hem. Her fingertip veil was secured by a crown headpiece. She carried a bouqet of multi-colored roses.

The bride chose her mother as matron of honor, and bridegroom's father was best man.

A celebration of their marriage was held May 27 at the home of Kevin and Tracy Davied in Sikeston.

Mrs. Hammontree received a master's degree in physical education from Maryville University in St. Louis. She is the director of physical therapy with Encore Rehab.

The bridegroom received a bachelor's degree in physical education from Lambuth University in Jackson, Tenn. He is a certified athletic trainer with Encore Rehab.

After a wedding trip to los Alamos, N.M., the couple are making their home in Hartselle, Ala.
