Shelby - Leggett

SIKESTON -- Shannon Nicole Shelby and Dustin Ray Leggett were united in marriage during a 4 p.m. ceremony April 8, 2006, at the First Assembly of God Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Ron Tate performed the ceremony. Jane Whitten was the musician.

The bride is the daughter of Terry and Kay Shelby of Sikeston, and parents of the bridegroom are Don and Kathy Leggett of Chaffee.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was Chanda Shelby of Sikeston. Bridesmaids were Michelle Moen and Traci Weismueller of Cape Girardeau and Sarah Tuschhoff of Jackson.

Flower girl was Katelyn Bollinger, daughter of Dustin and Tasha Bollinger of Chaffee.

Mike Vaughn of St. Louis served as best man. Groomsmen were Luke Weld and Gary Breckel of St. Louis and Aaron Hunckler of Bloomington, Ind.

Serving as ringbearers were Connor Shelby, son of Andrew and Chanda Shelby of Sikeston, and Andrew Vaughn, son of Mike and Samantha Vaughn of St. Louis.

Paige Moore and Kimberly Moore of Bernie served as candlelighters. Ushers were Ryan Moore of Bernie and Andrew Shelby of Sikeston.

A reception followed at the Raudmont Inn in Sikeston where guests were served by Jessica Knox of St. Louis, Danae Davis of Delta and Krissy Warman of Cape Girardeau.

After a honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii, the new Mr. and Mrs. Leggett are making their home in Chaffee.
