Marlene Halstead

CORYDON, Ky. -- Marlene Ann Halstead, 62, died at 8:48 p.m. July 30, 2007, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.

She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.

She was married for 41 years to Clint W. Halstead, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Andrea Torillo of West Hartford, Conn., two sons, Clint W. Halstead IV of Clarksville, Tenn., and Craig Halstead of Henderson; three sisters, Jan Landon, Joyce Miller and JoAnn Parent, all of Massena, N.Y.; two brothers, Jimmy Parent and Billy Parent of Massena.; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m. Visitation will continue from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Henderson, with the Rev. J. Edward Bradley officiating.

Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.
