Lorene Limbaugh

SIKESTON - Lorene Cain Limbaugh, 95, died at 4:53 a.m. Feb. 9, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born March 15, 1911, in McMullin, to the late Orville H. and Ruth Minner Cain, she had been chief operator for Southwestern Bell for 38 years and was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles L. and Lavonne Limbaugh of Farmington and J.R. "Bob" and Brenda Limbaugh of Oran; one stepdaughter, Shirley Jean Lloyd of Navarre, Fla.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Cain; and one sister, Orviline Simpson.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Rick Ramsey of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston and the Rev. Ed. Carter, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Oran, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Old Morley Cemetery.
