Speakout 11/19

I would like to thank the good Samaritans who helped my daughter and nephew that were stranded on the Interstate south of Cape last Saturday. Just want to thank them again. I know they live in Sikeston, but we didn't get their names. Again, we thank you. That is one reason we like to live down in the Bootheel, there is good people down in this area. Thank you again.

I'd like to inform everyone that Ryan's servers are paid an hourly wage of $2.13. They depend on tips to make a living. When people can't even leave a measly dollar, it makes it even harder. My personal motto is if you don't have enough money to tip a server after a job well done, then you should have gone to a fast food joint. Noticed that I said a job well done. If your service is lousy, then I don't blame you for not tipping. Just try to think about your servers and the good job they do for you.

Now that the election is over and the liberals now control our House and Senate, I have a few questions. How many of those voters in St. Louis and Kansas City who voted yes on Amendment 2 and Claire McCaskill, were bussed in and told who to vote for and how? How long is the so-called bipartisanship going to last? I mean the Democrats in the media, the House and the Senate were not bipartisan before the election, were they? Maybe it's all right to be partisan as long as you're liberal. Al Qaeda terrorists and Iranian leaders are claiming victory now that the liberals have won. Does this mean that the liberals that are elected are on the same side on the War on Terror as the terrorists and Iranian fascists? Or those who voted for those liberals happy to be on the same side as the terrorists? Just wondering.

Together we stand, divided we fall. You did, we did, I did and it wasn't duty that called. I have no money son for your protection and you had just started your medication. So your lawyer asked for a guilty plea. No one was injured, just you and me. When the law took you away from me, I lost the joy of watching you grow, the joy of your laughter. I thought I would always know. An accident has taken its toll. It has broken our hearts and wounded our soul. Seven more to go. We cannot stand alone. We must keep praying. This is mine, sayeth the Lord. I will repay. Have a good day and God bless America.
