Carhartt Concept Shop

Sunday, September 17, 2006

A ribbon cutting was conducted recently to celebrate the opening of the Carhartt Concept Shop at Slushers Farm and Home. The shop, designed and constructed by the Carhartt company, is filled with a variety of clothes for men and boys. According to Cindy Farrenburg with Slushers, the shop offers more than 400 coats, a large selection of bib overalls and 16 different styles in bottoms, all in variety of colors. "We have one of the largest selections of Carhartt clothing between Herculaneum and Memphis," said Farrenburg, who added Slushers has offered Carhartt clothing for the past nine years. The Carhartt Concept Shop maintains the same hours as Slushers and is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:30 a.m. to noon Saturday. Pictured at the ribbon cutting are, from left: Steve Millington, Larry Farrenburg, David Alsobrook, Tom Alsobrook, Jeannie Malloy, Raena Perkey, Cindy Farrenburg, Lisa Glover, Kendall Ayers and Donna Thompson.
