Speakout 4/9

Sunday, April 9, 2006

I was going through a shed, just bought a house. I found a lot of stuff from a Lucille Riggs. I don't know if any of her family members are still around here. I found her pastor's license and there is a lot of memorabilia from the Church of the Nazarene. If any of her family would like any of her stuff, if you would leave your name and number in SpeakOut, I will get in contact with you and you can come and look at it.

If we would spend 15 minutes a day praying with our children, we wouldn't need prisons. If we would put the Holy Bible back on the shelves at school, if we would rehang the Ten Commandments, if we would learn to pray and stay on our knees until we got an answer, this world would be a better place.

I was reading the paper and five out of six of tonight's births had the same last name. That is great, but you'll probably be paying for the sixth one.

I would like to speak out about this person who keeps putting this ad in the SpeakOut about people on Medicaid and welfare and getting help from the government. It's got to be the same person. Well this is to that person. Let me tell you something. You ought to be ashamed of yourself for not wanting anyone to have any medical coverage or medicine. I don't know what kind of monster you are to want to deprive a person of having a doctor or dentist or something. Apparently, you don't have to worry about stuff like that. There's people out there that don't have jobs and has little kids that needs stuff like that. You need to get off your high horse and get on your knees and pray to the Lord because you must be a very self-centered person to want to deny health care coverage. That's all I've got to say about you.

We had a set of keys turned in to Wallpaper for Less. If you have lost a set of keys and identify them and we'll give them to you.

I had no idea we had a representative republic, however, I am still wanting to get rid of the electoral college. To me, it is not needed. Does the representative republic we have need it to control the vote or what? What's your comments on this?

Please put in SpeakOut. Hello to our loved ones. We miss you much. For 42 days it has done nothing but rain. They say it hasn't been like this in 18 years. (Hawaii) We're doing okay, just home sick. Cullen, Anthony, Mom loves you, Dennis, Lisa

I'd like to thank the person or people who trashed the lot behind Riverbirch Mall. I am an OTR driver who lives in Sikeston who for the past 4 years has had the privilege of parking my truck there when I come home. Now thanks to you, I cannot park there anymore. Also thank you Larry Dewitt for letting all of us park there for this amount of time. Your courtesy has been greatly appreciated. If these people live like that at home, I'm glad I don't live with them. Sincerely, B. Johnson
