SIKESTON - Mayme Gremore, 92, formerly of Lilbourn, died April 9, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born July 10, 1913, in Bertrand, daughter of the late Charles and Mary Roden Willis, she was a member of Kewanee Missionary Baptist Church and had worked for Sickrey's Dry Goods in Lilbourn.

On April 21, 1934, she married Alvin Sibley Gremore who preceded her in death on March 10, 1986.

In addition to her parents and husband, two brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two sons, Melford Gremore of Murray, Ky., and Charles Gremore of Germantown, Tenn.; two daughters, Anita Sue Gibson of Frederick, Colo., and Darlene Cagle of Sikeston; and 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Jeoff Baggett, pastor of Cross Roads Fellowship Church in Cadiz, Ky., will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery in Lilbourn.
