Call 471-6636

I'm going to try again. I called in three weeks ago and for some reason my call was not published. Does George Bush really think he is God Almighty or does he just act like it? Apparently he feels like he has the authority to tell everybody, everywhere what to do, how to do it and when to do it. He feels it is impossible for him to make a mistake of any kind. He is made just about every nation in the world mad at us. He acts like a vigilante in the fact that no matter who or how many are against him, he wants to do it his way. He is been trying to convince by lying that everything is going fine in Iraq and that he is not going to change anything. All the news we get is not that way. After all the lives that have been lost, injured and all the money that has been spent, it hopefully seems that maybe he realizes he could possibly be wrong, although he won't admit it. This has been his war from the get go. Who knows what his motive was. It was not a good motive, judging by the lives, money, not to mention all the future lives, injuries and money yet to come. He and Congress are changing all the rules that he sees fit. Hopefully we will get a Democratic Congress after November and keep him from doing any more harm.

I was calling about the person wanting to know about the problem with the person's gas bill being so high. It's probably because Atmos Energy will put you on budget billing and if you get behind, they'll demand that you pay the entire bill at one time. Most people on a fixed income, low income or a minimum wage job can't come up with $1,000 or $800 at one time and they end up getting their gas cut off. No one seems to understand that. There's not much you can do about it. They set you up on budget billing, tell you your bill will be a certain amount. One bill may be that amount and the next month it may go up, and the next month it may go up. You try to set your budget up to keep up with their budget and it's not going to work. So you are stuck, no gas, no assistance. Maybe no heat.

I don't know much about politics, but every time you turn on the TV all you see is these senators and everybody putting each other down. As for me, I'll vote for McCaskill. I certainly will not vote for Blunt. He took dental things away from the needy. I think that's disgusting and terrible. He should have to live in a mother's shoes and watch his little daughter suffer. I hope nobody votes for him. We want to hear good things, not bad things. It makes me mad. They act like a bunch of little kids. I wouldn't vote for anybody like that. I like JoAnn Emerson and Mrs. Clinton.

Gov. Blunt is not on the November ballot.

The Democrats are hollering about the war. We lost more people in one day in Korea than they've lost in the whole war in Iraq. The 444 Transportation Corps knows it well. Truman didn't want to win the war, Mac did. You see the trouble we've got today.

If the terrorists were allowed to vote in this country, how would they vote? Would they vote Republican or would they vote Democrat? Thank you.

I have a question with this election coming up in a couple of weeks. Amendment 2 with this cloning issue, they can call it what they want, but it is a cloning issue. How can you profess to be a Christian and a Democrat at the same time because Democrats support abortion and support cloning basically? How can you be both?

I called my doctor today for my two children to have a flu shot, and do you know that anyone that is on Medicaid cannot get a flu shot? Only people that can afford to pay for it. Here we go again. The rich can get theirs, the poor will die.

Christians are not against stem cell research, we are against cloning. If you want to spend your money wisely, get stem cell research on a bill all by itself and get the cloning off of there. Then you would have more people vote for that amendment.
