Juanita Moore

EAST PRAIRIE - Juanita Moore, 77, died at 3 a.m. Nov. 26, 2006, at her home.

Born Aug. 24, 1929, in Union City, Tenn., daughter of the late T.Y. and Eary Campbell King, she lived most of her life in Mississippi County where she was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Prairie.

On April 17, 1947, she married Walter Maderson Moore who preceded her in death on June 5, 1985.

Also preceding her in death were one son, Rodger Lambert; one brother, James King; one sister, Opal Ogden; and one great-grandson.

Survivors include: three sons, Ernest Moore, Richard Moore and Carl Moore of East Prairie; two daughters, Mary Wagner of Portage, Mich., and Joyce Winchester of Sikeston; one sister, Velma Miller of Garden City, Mich.; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Junior Trails of Matthews.

Visitation is at 4 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. George White will officiate.

Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Chris Wagner, Winston Moore, Austin Moore, Lester Moore, Ray Hendrix and Wayne Hendrix.
