Betty Ezell
DEXTER - Betty Colleen Ezell, 69, died Feb. 4, 2007, at her home.
Born June 12, 1937, in Essex, daughter of the late Clemmer and Reba Tedford DeJournett, she had lived in Texas and Colorado. In 1967, she returned to Dexter where she owned and operated Betty's Draperies for 28 years. She was of the Protestant belief.
On June 27, 1955, in Union City, Tenn., she married Glen Ray Ezell who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Brian Scott Ezell of Miner; one daughter and son-in-law, Dawn Lynn and Danny Gordon of Fayetteville, N.C.; one sister, Patricia Book of Cape Girardeau; and one granddaughter, Melissa Dawn Gordon of Fayetteville.
In addition to her parents, one brother, Dale DeJournett, also preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Greg Meadows of Dudley will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
