Dearly missed

Friday, August 29, 2008

Anyone that knew Tim Jaynes knew that he was one of greatest men that this town of Sikeston has ever had the privilege of knowing. He was a comedian and an excellent photographer. Most importantly he was a friend and role model to all that knew him. I have personally known him for years and he taught me many important things. He taught me how to use Photoshop and it was hard for me to keep up as he operates it like he wrote the program. He helped ingrain in me how to excel in what I did and balance perfection along with patience into my work ethic. He was a wonderful man and more than a hero. I think I speak for everyone when I say that this town will never be the same without him. His impact on Sikeston was immense and his compassion was deep. The loss of this wonderful man has deeply affected the soul of Sikeston; everyone that ever had the ability and privilege of working with him or knowing him loved him. He will be dearly missed. I'm sure he is up in heaven joking with God at this very moment. The Standard Democrat will never be the same without you Tim. We love you and we dearly miss you; you are in our thoughts and will always be in our hearts.
