Your View: Obama is wrong

Never before in the history of our nation have we faced such a grave crisis: one of the most radical political figures ever to be nominated by a major party is just minutes away from becoming the next President of the United States.

I'm trying to figure out if it is just because he is black or just because he is a Democrat. Either way, is political power so important to the Democrats that they're going to elect this man who will take "In God We Trust" out of our nation and let the Pledge of Allegiance to the USA no longer have any meaning?

Whose convictions on abortion are so fanatical that he believes born alive babies who survived abortions should be tossed aside to die without medical care and voted against the bill to protect them form their horrible death? Whose convictions on abortion are so radical that he thinks it is okay to partially delver a live baby and then allow the doctor to stab scissors into its skull to destroy the brain so it will die?

Are we going to allow this man who recently went to Berlin just so he could tell them how bad America was and how imperfect we are as a nation be our next president? Is it really possible that a man who accuses our military troops, who are at this very moment risking their lives to keep us safe - my son being one of them who just last week returned from his third mission to Iraq - of "bombing villages and killing innocent people" in Iraq will get more votes than the man who was tortured in Vietnam fighting for his country?

Is our country actually willing to elect a man who Iraq leaders have said on his visit there told them "don't settle anything or sign agreements now. When I'm president I will take care of it." Really? Funny thing is everyone I have met who it voting for Obama doesn't want to talk about it - can't defend him in a reasonable debate and don't want to debate the issues. Does it really not matter to them at all that not only his wife but many outspoken friends and acquaintances are radical "hate America" leftists or criminals?

Never mind that he will spend our country into bankruptcy with universal healthcare. . . I laugh because people voting for Obama think the Bush economy is bad (thanks to the last two years of a Democratic CONTROLLED Congress who are responsible for he current crisis and for lining their own pockets with Fannie Me and Freddie Mac money. The list is public record - Dodd #1, Obama #2, Biden #3. Dodd and Barnie Franks also got sweetheart loans from Countrywide that got swept under the rug along with Charlie Rangels Tax evasion but the Democrats don't care.

Now if they were Republicans, their own party would kick them out and the Democrats would be screaming at the top of their lungs months after they'd already been forced to resign by their own party.

Does the past 20 years of Obama's life not matter to them because he can make a nice speech from a teleprompter?

We can only pray that God wants America to survive and remain free from terrorists' takeover and will make sure the same "dead" people who mysteriously voted around the country for Obama in the primaries and the Ohio illegally gotten votes being cast all this past week and weekend won't matter anyway.
