MDMC sets up information hotline

SIKESTON -- A number of questions about the H1N1 virus -- as well as rumors circulating about a possible local impact -- have led one local healthcare agency to set up a way to disperse the facts.

"We have set up a public information number," said Sharon Urhahn, director of marketing at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. "It has a 30-second update on what's going on with the H1N1 virus and tells them about the symptoms and what to expect if they come into our offices."
