Cherokees place second in Showcase Tournament

MERAMAC -- The Cape Cherokees 17U team took second place in the Meramac Showcase Tournament held this past weekend at Meramac Community College. The tournament, an 18U prospect baseball tournament, featured 15 teams altogether.

The 17U Cherokees squad compiled a 5-1 record and several players in the lineup batted over .500 in the tournament.
