SIKESTON -- A century and a half in the making, a book featuring hundreds of Sikeston photographs will be available Friday.

Mike Marsh, director of the Sikeston Depot, said they have already received a dozen calls from people wanting to get a copy early but aren't letting any go until the official release.

"Friday from 5-8 p.m. we're having our unveiling party for 'Through the Years: A Pictorial History of Sikeston, Missouri,'" Marsh said. "Anyone who pre-ordered the book or who would like to buy a copy of the book can get theirs beginning 5 p.m. Friday: from then on, they will be available."
