Scott City's Shemonia wins Farmington Invitational

FARMINGTON -- Scott City runner Brandon Shemonia continued his stellar cross country season, winning the Farmington Invitational cross country meet on Saturday.

Shemonia won the boys race in 16:27.22 and helped the Rams to a fourth place team finish in the event, won by Notre Dame.

Kelly's Juan Campos finished 27th.

Scott City's Melanie Lacey finished fourth in the girls race with a time of 20:37.12 while Dexter's Katie Justice finished 21st and Chaffee's Mollie McGowan finished in 29th.
