Patrick Doyle of New Madrid talked to Linda Guthrie, human resources manager at Alan Wire, about job opportunities there. About 200 people walked through the annual Four-County Job Fair on Wednesday at the Clinton Building in Sikeston. There were 18 different booths set up with individuals to talk to potential job seekers. Missy Marshall, executive director of the Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce which helped sponsor the event, said that while last year most of the attendees were unemployed, several of those who came out for the fair this year have jobs but are looking for something new.
