Tuesday evening's storm and high winds left lots for Larry Shadwick to clean up around his house on Scott County Highway 450 on Wednesday. Shadwick said he was on the telephone at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday when he heard what almost "sounded like a train coming through." When the winds and rain finally died down, Shadwick discovered his trampoline had come loose from its anchorings and struck his house with portions of the frame embedded into the roof and his carport. "You can't stop it, all you can do is ride it out," Shadwick said about the storm.
