DEXTER -- Cora Mae Hagy-Magarian, 49, died Nov. 15, 2011, at her home.

Born Oct. 5, 1962, in Flora, Ill., to the late John Wilson and Beatrice Scott Hagy, she had lived in Dexter most of her life. She attended The Pentecostal Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Dudley and had worked as a certified nursing assistant at the Crowley Ridge Nursing Home.

Surviving are: one daughter, Jamie Vaughn of Dexter; one son, James Edward Magarian Jr. of Dexter; three brothers, James Hagy and John Hagy Jr. of Dexter and Earl Hagy of St. Louis; seven sisters, Claudia Dowdy, Sandra Bayless, Carolyn Fielder and Doris Price of Dexter, Nellie Runyon of Onley, Ill., Juanita Willoby of Qupaw, Okla., and Wanda Latham of Morley; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Roseanna Marie Conway, three brothers, Earnest "Jody" Hagy, Estell Hagy and Vincent Hagy, and one sister, Vida Scott.

Visitation is scheduled from 6 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. Friday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

A private family burial will be held at a later date.
