SCOTT CITY -- After falling in the district championship game last season, the Rams will have an experienced line up looking to improve on their 10-16 record.

"We will be very versatile with multiple players being able to play multiple positions," said Scott City second-year head coach Mark Dannenmueller. "We have an experienced team and the players understand what is expected out of them with this being my second year with them."

Seniors Landon Robert (6-1), Zach Cotner (6-1), Logan Henson (5-9), Jesse Sanders (5-10) return with plenty of experience as do juniors Ryan Brock (6-4) and Ryan Fortner (6-0). They will be joined by varsity newcomers Jonathan McFall, Eric Essner, Tyler Adams, Trevor Job, Nick Bollinger and Eric Uhrhan.

"The kids have been working extremely hard in practice and pushing each other, and everyone is very competitive," Dannenmueller said. "We are hoping we have a deeper team this year, as long as everyone steps up like we know they can. This group is very persistent and will not back down from a challenge."
