SCOTT CITY -- Clarence "Hubert" Grubb, 78, died Jan. 24, 2012, at the Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born May 23, 1933 in Parma, to the late Orlie and Almeda Scruggs Grubb, he was owner/operator of Grubbs Mobile Homes.

On June 17, 1950, in Caruthersville, he married Juanita Pearl Galloway who preceded him in death on Oct. 9, 2010.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers.

Survivors include: a son, Sonny Grubb of Chandler, Ind.; four daughters, Diane Morrow of Scott City, Deborah Sczerby of Killeen, Texas, Renee Newman of Poplar Bluff and Angela Dawn Brown of Jackson; five brothers, Dallas Grubb of Ruskin, Fla., Harlie Grubb of Evansville, Ind., Donnie Grubb of Thebes, Ill., Ronnie Grubb of Cape Girardeau and Randy Grubb of Benton; five sisters, Blanche Martin of Kennett, Linda Umfleet and Lisa Meyers of Brownwood, Brenda Davis of Chaffee and Teresa Kinnison of Dundee, Miss.; and 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from noon until time of services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City with Chuck Lambert officiating.

Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce.
