CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Glenda Keller Morrison, age 85, of Cape Girardeau and formerly of Sikeston, died Jan. 30, 2012, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Dec. 24, 1926, in Sikeston, to the late Glen and Blanche Swanagon Keller.

Glenda was a former member of First Baptist Church in Sikeston and a current member of the Lynwood Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. She graduated from Sikeston High School in 1944 and had been employed by Southwestern Bell in Sikeston and Charleston for 33 years.

On June 12, 1945, she married Bennie Joe Morrison who preceded her in death on July 22, 2006. She and Bennie had enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with their square dancing club.

Glenda is survived by: three daughters and one son-in-law, Melinda Hilterbrand, Margaret Baber, and Marsha and Matthew Elfrink all of Cape Girardeau; one brother, James "Jim" Keller of Sikeston; one sister and brother-in-law, Carol Ann and Robert Mason of Florence, Ore.; seven grandchildren, Leanne Parker (Andy) Thele of Jackson, Kelly Hilterbrand (Mark) Kreutsberg of Herculaneum, Cheryl Hilterbrand (Neil) Slatinsky of Springfield, Jason (Megan) Baber of Jacksonville, Fla., Keri Baber (Doug) Cook of Burbank, Calif., Bart (Meredith) Elfrink of Alton, Ill., and Alex (Keely) Elfrink of Cape Girardeau; 13 great-grandchildren, Trey and Molly Parker, Jake and Jordan Thele, Olivia, Sydney and Charlotte Slatinsky, Alexis and Jonathan Baber, Evie Cook, Nickolas and Penelope Elfrink and Joseph Elfrink; and stepmother, Dorothy Guess Keller of Sikeston.

Preceding her in death were one brother, Richard Keller, formerly of Henderson, Nev., and one foster sister Imogene Holmes, formerly of Sikeston.

Friends may call from 4:30-7 p.m. Thursday at the Lynwood Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. Friends may also call from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. Mark Anderson, pastor of Lynwood Baptist, will officiate.

Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
