POPLAR BLUFF (SMNS) -- Charleston rolled to a 67-45 win Friday night at Poplar Bluff to earn a share of the SEMO Conference title.

Up 32-13 at the break, Charleston pushed the margin to 23 before the Mules put together a rally.

An 11-2 swing by Poplar Bluff cut the deficit to 14 with 2:23 left in the third.

Charleston, however, put together an 8-2 run that ended on a rare four-point play by Summer Foster.

DEXTER (SMNS) -- Cape Central's T. J. Tisdell scored a game-high 33 points to lead the Tigers to a 76-69 overtime win over Dexter at the Bearcat Event Center Friday night. With the win, Cape Central finishes 6-1 in the SEMO Conference and are co-champions along with Charleston.

Dexter trailed by nine point heading into the fourth quarter, but chipped away at the Tigers lead until Tyler Miller knocked down a 3-pointer with 51 second remaining to tie the game at 64-all.

Cape Central's Garan Evans had a chance to give the Tigers the lead with 35 second remaining, but missed the front end of a one-and-one.

Miller cleared the rebound and after a quick time-out, Dexter had a last shot at winning in regulation. Dexter was working the ball for the last shot when Cody Neldon was called for an illegal screen to give Central the ball with 15 seconds remaining.

Tisdell took the shot, missed, grabbed his own rebound, but was again off the mark with the put-back as time expired with the scored tied at 64-all.

Tisdell scored the first four points in the overtime period to give Central a 68-64 lead they never relinquished and left the court with the SEMO Conference win.

"I thought we played well offensively, we just had a heck of tough time stopping Tisdell no matter what we did," Dexter coach Rob Nichols said after the game. We tried three or four different defenses. If he didn't score, it seemed like he got the rebound and he's a good free throw shooter. So he's a good player. He may be the conference player of the year."
