Charter lineup undergoes changes

SIKESTON -- Charter subscribers in Sikeston and the surrounding area will see a new channel lineup beginning Wednesday.

Charter is adding 28 new high definition (HD) channels and relocating over 90 percent of its channels. Charter plans to bring even more HD channels as well as HD on demand and online programming to customers this summer.

In conjunction with these HD channel additions, Charter will reorganize its current channel listing, creating genre categories. Due to the relocation of channels, customers should reprogram all DVR series recordings with the new channel locations.

"We want our customers to have the best in high-definition -- from movies to series to educational shows," said Sean O'Donnell, Charter's vice president and general manager for Missouri and Illinois.
