BENTON -- The reality of a football program is starting to sink in at Kelly High School.

After several months of planning and preparation, sod was installed Thursday and Friday on what will be the new high school football field. In the future, it will also serve as the girls' soccer field.

"It is neat to see this becoming a reality," Athletic Director Kenneth Riedinger said. "...We've started something we're going to follow through with."
