CLINTON, Ky. -- Herbert Marshall Larkins, 82, died at 12:04 a.m. June 13, 2012, at Parkway Regional Hospital.

Son of the late R.R. and Annie Bennett Larkins, he was a retired farmer and the owner of West Kentucky Enterprises of Mayfield. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean War, a member of Clinton First Baptist Church and was involved for 18 years with the Hickman County Jail Ministry.

Survivors include: his wife, Doris Faye Jones Larkins of Clinton; a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Lisa Larkins of Mayfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Todd Johnson of Clinton; one brother, Bruce Larkins of Grand Rivers; one sister, Georgia Ferrell of Sikeston, Mo.; and three grandsons and one great-grandson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Friday at the Brown Funeral Home in Clinton with the Revs. Doug Jones, Greg Hussey and Richie Spann officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery.
