The Scott County 4-H Shooting Sports program recently received Creedmoor 1 point and 3 point target systems for pellet practice. The equipment was obtained in a grant from the National Rifle Association. The equipment is used for indoor pellet practice sessions throughout the year. Thirty-three 4-H members in Scott County will benefit from the NRA Grant program in 2012. The pictured 4-H members plus Annie Duffield will be competing in the State 4-H Shooting Sports Competition September 15th in Columbia. The 4-H program serves over 150 Scott County youth from ages 5-18 with nearly 100 volunteers. Pictured from left in front of a Creedmoor 3 Point Target System are Karli Pratt, Kinsey Pratt, Hannah Duenne and Allison Seiler.
