CIRCLE CITY -- James Allen Lykins, 68, died Nov. 4, 2012, at his home.

Born Sept. 30, 1944, in Exeter, Calif., son of the late King David Lykins and Elsie Cheek Lykins, he was employed by Tyson Foods in Dexter.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin Lykins and LeRoy Lykins, and two sisters, Nora Ames and Susie Lockridge.

Survivors include: three sons, James L. Lykins of Circle City, Roy Lykins of Marked Tree, Ark., and Danny Lykins of Dexter; one brother, Roy Lykins of LaGrande, Ore.; and 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Tim Russell will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Essex Cemetery.
