MARION, Ark. -- Gary Raymond "Bunny" Burton, 64, formerly of Charleston, Mo., died Nov. 30, 2012, at the Baptist East Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Born July 28, 1948, in rural Charleston, son of the late A.J. and Jewell Garrett Burton, he was a 1966 graduate of Charleston High School. A member of the First Baptist Church of Marion, he had been employed with the Implement Sales Co. of Memphis for 23 years until the company changed ownership. He then was an independent sales representative for Orthman Manufacturing Co. for 21 years along with McFarlane Manufacturing Co. for 15 years.

On July 2, 1966, he married Teresa Fowler who survives of the home.

Other survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and William Gray of Marion.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, A.J. "Jay" Burton.

Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Travis Watson will officiate.

Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston.

Pallbearers will be: William Gray, John McCoy, Jeff Bonds, Curtis Crisp, William Orthman and Justin Troudt.
