Gary Allen

DEXTER -- Gary Lee Allen, 59, died Jan. 27, 2013, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital.

Born Jan. 29, 1953, son of the late Shirley Ray Allen and Joyce Marie Leigh Cunningham Allen, he had worked for 30 years as a forklift operator at Arvin.

In August 1975 he married Marian Allen. On Sept. 24, 2004, in Corning, Ark., he married Rona Morefield who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Garrett Allen of Dexter; one daughter, Angie Scroggins of Dexter; three stepdaughters, Paula Rogers of Lowndes and Ashley Isaac and Morgan Isaac of Dexter; one brother, Jonas Allen of Dittmer; and three sisters, Charlene Stogsdill of Arnold, Sharon Condray of Valley Mines and Pauline Murphy of St. Peters.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Allen.

No public services will be conducted.

The Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
