Longtime municipal court clerk retires today after 22 years

SIKESTON -- Longtime city of Sikeston employee Mary White-Ross is leaving her position today, but the municipal court clerk insists she isn't saying goodbye for good.

White-Ross has been employed with the city of Sikeston for over 22 years, and today marks her official last day of work for the city of Sikeston.

"I've enjoyed working for the city and clerk's office," White-Ross said.

About 50 family members along with past and present co-workers and colleagues attended a reception in White-Ross' honor Wednesday at City Hall.
