We'll leave the light on

I noticed on July 19 the school light zone is still flashing on Salcedo Road. It's the school that's on Lindenwood Drive. I guess I was wondering if school really is in session or did they forget to turn the light off. I attempted to call the school board and superintendent's office and get the answering machine or an automated system with no option to get ahold of an operator. I did try to call both the Middle School and Junior High, since I'm not sure what school is located here on Salcedo Road. Is school in session or not? I slow down for it everyday and about get run over. Let's turn it off if school is not in session.

Tired of hearing racism

Every time you turn the TV on, all you hear is racism, racism, racism. You hear where the whites aren't treating the blacks right. It seems to me that the whites can't even talk to the blacks. They can't even speak to them. When they do, they're called honkeys and they turn and turn their finger up to you. You try to be nice to them and in return, you get a whole bunch of nothing. I don't understand why the blacks, the times the least little thing happens out there, they holler racism. They call the whites honkeys and rednecks and you name it. The whites never protest or say anything about racism. I don't understand it, and if anyone out there understands it, I wish they would put it in the paper so I would understand it myself. I'd like to learn. I'm not here to badmouth anybody, but it makes me sick to hear racism so much.

Goop and scoop

You people that watch Jimmy Swaggart, don't you wish that Frances Swaggart would put on a dress that would cover her whole neckline? I sure do. And her eyes, she's got so much goop on them. Is she supposed to be special?

Cut, clean and clear

The guy over on Bradley needs to learn how to weed-eat and clean up his yard. Everybody else in the neighborhood keeps their yard looking clean and cleared. The city has been called once already, and I guess they need to be called again to get him to take care of his yard.
