Who fired the shot?

Happy holidays. I'm watching the news and the paper right now. Everybody's hyped up about this John F. Kennedy assassination thing that happened 50 years ago. Oswald probably shot him, who knows. I'm sure the country has changed. They said it might have been Russians that had him killed, might've been LBJ. It might've been Oswald because JFK passed a foreign act bill for foreigners to be citizens of the United States. Hmm, figure that? Now look at our country - infested by other countries that we can't take care of our own right now. Go figure. Buy American. Have a good day.

A secret sham?

The Sikeston School Board is in the process of developing and coming up with a new plan for the Sikeston Public Schools. I wonder why they haven't done a survey with the public on what they would like to see done. This is all a sham and being done and hidden behind a secret citizen committee that includes former school board members and teachers. This needs to be an open process to the parents and taxpayers.

Just deal with it

This is on your speakout with your gentleman that is an ex union man. I praise him. I'm a union person myself. The medical situation these days are a lot different than when he first started when he was a young union man. These days they don't pay everything. I'm a teamster and coming up on retirement, and I'm not hardly getting anything. Obama is not helping me a bit. You don't have to be a Democrat to be union. Everybody has to do what's right for them in their situation. Some of them are lucky, some of them have to deal with it. And we are having to deal with it. That's the choice that was handed to us. Congratulations to your side of the medical benefits. The union, like everybody else, has its good and its bad.
