Just asking for it

I would like to know when women and girls quit having respect for themselves. They either way blouses or dresses that are cut down to the waist and their tops showing or up to their waist from the bottom. Sometimes the top and the bottom meet in the middle and they barely have anything on. It is ridiculous. It is utterly ridiculous. They have no respect for themselves. And then when they get raped or something, they act like they don't know why. If you advertise, and I know it's not right, but a man is going to take advantage of it. When they advertise it like that, they are asking for it.

Gas fuming

First, I want to say Happy Thanksgiving to the staff at the Standard Democrat. I was just coming through St. Louis, coming back down to my sister's house in Sikeston. Gas prices up here in St. Louis and St. Charles are from $2.78 to $2.81. Got down here and they are $3.04. Come on Sikeston people. If St. Louis can sell their clean gas for $2.80 a gallon, then we should be down to $2.75 or lower. Come on, help us out. It's the holidays. They are nothing but greedy here in Sikeston. That's a shame.
