Caruthersville License Office Contract Awarded

The Office of Administration, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Revenue, has awarded the management contract for the Caruthersville License Office to Rebecca L. Cole of Caruthersville. All license office contracts in Missouri are awarded through a competitive bid process.

Cole has been the contractor of the Caruthersville License Office since 2005.

The Caruthersville License Office will remain at its current location at 610 Ward Ave. Suite 1D.

In fiscal year 2013, more than 27,000 transactions were conducted at the Caruthersville office, generating approximately $90,000 in agent processing fees. Cole's contract includes an annual commitment to return 1% (approximately $903.85) of future processing fees to the state.

All local license offices are overseen by the Missouri Department of Revenue, but each is operated by an independent agent.
