Nobody should be hungry

I saw a thing on the news this morning how many people were homeless in America. There shouldn't be anybody homeless in America. If the president would worry about the people in America instead of China and all them countries, there wouldn't be any homeless people over here. Take care of business here and there wouldn't be anybody hungry or homeless. And all the fires, caused by space heaters, if the government wasn't so greedy they could take care of that too. Instead of tearing down every building that becomes vacant, why can't the cities and churches fix them up for the homeless? The churches have these big old buildings that they just use to play basketball in. They don't want the people in the churches. Open them up and let people in. All the people do these days is help their selves and they don't worry about anybody else. All the rich people go to their big old fancy houses and forget about the people on the streets.

Healthy children

In response to "Skittles and steaks," to answer your question, yes I do like kids and I do care about kids. That's why I say these EBT cards should only be used for the basic food groups, necessities such as meats, fruits, vegetables and dairy and not be spent on Skittles and candy and junk. That's bad for the kids. Sounds to me like maybe I struck a nerve with you. Maybe you are one using and EBT card to buy Skittles, and junk, and cupcakes and Pepsis and Cokes instead of buying your kids nutritious foods that they need to be healthy. Yes, I do care about kids and that's why I don't feel that my taxpaying dollars should be spent on candy and junk food.

Eat homegrown in America

I'd like to know why American businesses buy food from overseas and ship over here for us Americans to eat. So many of them are fed chicken manure, they're watered with sewage. I don't understand why they would buy that and bring it over here to our country. If you look it up, you can see how they process their food in China and Vietnam. I don't understand that. We're unaware a lot of time what we are eating.

Robbing Peter to pay Paul

It's sad, and I don't understand. Let's say you owe Sikeston a city bill, a $1,000, and if you can't pay it they put you in jail for 90 days. And it costs at least $40 a day to stay there. So you are paying off your city account and having to pay $40 a day. If you can't afford one, how can you afford the other? I think this is really stupid.

And that's the truth

This comment is about the animal shelter director. I feel it is very wrong for anyone to lie first of all. The fact that he lied about his pit bull being a service animal is so very wrong. Service dogs provide so much help to the handicapped, the blind, to autistic children. The fact that anyone would try to pass that dog off as a service dog is very wrong.
