Man facing charges for Sikeston shooting

SIKESTON - Charges were filed Saturday against a Sikeston man in connection with a shooting that left four people injured.

Antonio Marcel Flenoid, 32, is charged with four counts of first degree assault and armed criminal action. He is in custody with bond set at $100,000 cash only, awaiting his arraignment.

At around 12:30 a.m. Saturday at Cronies Bar, 1637 E. Malone St. in Sikeston, the Sikeston Department of Public Safety was notified of shots fired.

According to Capt. James McMillen, public information officer with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety, when officers arrived they found two subjects with gunshot wounds. Police soon discovered two other subjects with gunshot wounds were taken to area hospitals. "Witnesses said around 12:30 a.m. a subject came up to one of the victims inside the bar and pointed a handgun at the man," McMillen said. "The subject reportedly shot three to four times at the man while he was standing amongst several patrons. At the end of the shooting, four of the patrons were left wounded."
